Yep, we know. “Essence” is the standout track from Wizkid‘s Made In Lagos. Yes, we know the politics behind throwing Justin Bieber — and his questionable (and I’m just being nice here) Pidgin English — on the song’s remix. So, yes, we totally understand why a deluxe edition of the album would drop too.

Which we’re not mad at, of course. Excluding the “update” of “Essence,” the deluxe also contains three new songs: “Anoti,” “Mood” with Buju, and “Steady.” So, I’ll gladly take those songs… even if they gotta come with that other one.
