After a humorous role, alongside Ariana Grande, in the Netflix film Don’t Look Up, Kid Cudi‘s next role takes a sharp left turn.

Cudi will star in A24’s (Euphoria, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Red Rocket) new horror movie X. “In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast soon find themselves in a desperate fight for their lives,” the film’s synopsis reads.

Directed by Ti West, the film will also star Brittany Snow, Jenna Ortega, Mia Goth, and Martin Henderson, and is set to hit theaters on March 18th. Watch a trailer for the film below.
