Before his tragic passing in 2020, King Von was well on his way to becoming one of Chicago’s brightest rap stars. While it is a bittersweet feeling, Von was able to leave a surfeit of music prior to his death, and some of those tracks find light on his posthumous project What It Means To Be King.

A 19-song drop, the project features the likes of Lil Durk, 21 Savage, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, Fivio Foreign, Tee Grizzley, and Dreezy throughout. The album is led by the singles “War” and “Don’t Play That.”
