Recently joining forces with Wiz Khalifa, Smoke DZA, and Big K.R.I.T. for their Full Court Press album, producer Girl Talk connects with West Coast staple Jay 305 for “Hard Times Don’t Last.”

The track marks the first release from Girl Talk’s new label, C&G Records. “Jay 305 really captured the beat on this one! His vocals are raw and revealing,” he says about the song. “He bounces off the bittersweet soul sample and matches the energy of the blown out 808’s.”

Jay 305 was more succinct with his statement: “Leave room for God.”
