50 Cent told Big Boy of Big Boy’s Neighborhood on LA’s Real 92.3 that things are in “motion” as his plans to recreate Eminem’s 8 Mile movie into a television series are underway, expanding productions.

The “Many Men” artist says he wants to make another version of 8 Mile, the biopic film loosely based on Eminem’s life but this time as a television series.

“I’m going to bring 8 Mile to television,” the rapper said on Big Boy’s Neighborhood on the Real 92.3 in Los Angeles. “We’re in motion. It’s going to be big. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting a hundred.”

8 Mile premiered in 2002 and starred Eminem as a rapper from Detroit. Eminem also played White Boy Rick in the first season of the BMF series which premiered on Stars in 2021.

The Queens native has worked on many upcoming and current TV films such as Fightland, Hip Hop Homicides and a horror movie called Skill House.

Recently, The Best Man: Final Chapters is an eight-episode, special streaming on Peacock, featuring many of the original cast from Malcolm Lee’s 1999 The Best Man and the 2013 sequel, The Best Man Holiday. The series chronicles the final story in a series that includes Regina Hall, Melissa De Sousa, Sanaa Lathan, and Morris Chestnut.
