Rockabye Baby is giving a salute to Lauryn Hill’s 1998 solo LP The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. On Friday (May 12), the lullaby brand released a baby-themed version of the complete album in honor of its 25th anniversary this year. The album also makes Rockabye Baby’s latest front-to-back album release since 2021’s Lullaby Renditions of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On marking the iconic album’s 50th anniversary.

“With the album’s sixteen tracks transformed into gentle, lyric-less rhythmic melodies, Rockabye Baby is giving you everything you need to raise your kids on the absolute best: the best-selling album by a female rapper to this day, and one of the most acclaimed albums of all time,” reads a press statement from the brand.

Released in August 1998, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill marks the singer-songwriter’s first and only solo studio album to date. TMOLH went on to earn the artist four Grammy Awards the following year, including Best New Artist, Best R&B Album, Album of the Year, and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance (“Doo Wop (That Thing”).

In other Ms. Lauryn Hill news, the vocalist is set to co-headline Mary J. Blige’s second annual Strength of A Woman Festival in Atlanta, Georgia during Mother’s Day weekend. Also scheduled to perform are Blige, Summer Walker, Jeezy, Lucky Daye, Muni Long, Saucy Santana, Coco Jones, Robert Glasper, and more during the two-night concert at State Farm Arena.
