Hit-Boy is back with a new album. And this time, he’s brought his father Big Hit along for the ride.

“One month out the penitentiary, my dad Big Hit and I are dropping an album tonight,” Hit-Boy exclaimed on Twitter. “Is this the first full father and son rap album ever?”

While I can’t definitively answer that at the moment, the concept is still fresh!

After an epic run with Nas (releasing not one, not two, or three, but four albums) and sprinkling in projects with Musiq Soulchild and Belly, Surf resurfaced earlier this year with a solo album, Surf Or Drown. Now, it’s time for the sequel.

Equipped with 10 songs, Surf Or Drown 2 has features from with features from Dom Kennedy, Big Sean, and Garren. The release also comes with the instrumentals, as well.
