Arriving August 24th, Burna Boy has announced that he will release his seventh studio album I Told Them… The album is, according to a press release, heavily inspired by “90s hip hop, the Wu-Tang Clan’s unity, and Busta Rhymes’s creative eye.”

The project is anchored by the first single, the Brandy-sampling “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” with 21 Savage. Burna has also shared the project’s second focus track, “Big 7.” Produced by MDS (“Last Last,” “Cloak & Dagger”), the matching video — directed by Benny Boom — finds Burna hanging in NYC with the likes of the RZA, Busta, Junior M.A.F.I.A., actor Shameik Moore, and others.
