Like Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac, Missy Elliott, and 50 Cent before him, Dr. Dre received a much-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Formally inducted on March 19, Dre was accompanied by former protégés 50, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem, as well as longtime business partner Jimmy Iovine during the ceremony.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to make a living doing exactly what I love to do. How about that? Isn’t that the dream?” Dre said. “Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of finding and nurturing new talent as well as pushing the boundaries in hip-hop both in content and substance.”
