After a year and a half of crafting a sound outside of the widely loved group with her sister, Halle Bailey, Chlöe is standing on her own with the release of her new In Pieces LP via Parkwood Entertainment. Experimenting with her “Have Mercy” and “Treat Me” tunes, it was clear that the talented singer was crafting a sound outside of her group and testing the limitless musical waters. Home to 14 tracks, the project features contributions from some notable names in the form of Missy Elliott, Future and Chris Brown.

With previous singles like “Surprise” not making the album’s final cut, Chlöe seemingly went into a fresh direction with the album’s lead single, “Pray It Away,” where she sings through the waves of emotions that come with a failed relationship. Continuing with the momentum set, she continued to pull us in with “How Does It Feel,” which samples Usher’s Confessions “Throwback” classic.

Earlier this month while revealing the LP’s artwork for the highly anticipated offering, Chlöe shared her inspiration for the album cover and conveyed just who the music was dedicated to.

“IN PIECES is for the ones who behind closed doors are breaking and don’t know how much more they can take. IN PIECES is for the ones who hold the people up around them while barely holding up themselves. IN PIECES is for the people who continue to get stabbed in the back, heart broken by the ones they thought they could trust.”

Chlöe is also officially set to hit the road in support of her album, starting in April, for her ‘The In Pieces Tour.’ Fans can expect to see the new records come to life across the cities of New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and more.
