Her first single of 2023, “Attention,” doesn’t give that feeling though… at first. After the one-minute mark, however, Amala drops the harmonies for a bars-laden, boom-bap track speaking on everything Doja Cat: the opinions on her looks, the various criticisms she’s received, the false comparisons to other musicians, and more.
