The last time the Maryland-bred musician FoggieRaw appeared at the DopeHouse was way back in 2017. Absolutely terrible decision-making on our part. However, he hit my timeline on the bird app thanks to his track “Psalm 62,” which had him rhyming over the instrumental of Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name.” The clip went viral, and Foggie got his wish of having Alicia clear the track.

“Psalm 62” is now part of his The Foggie Pound 3 double-single. The drop also comes with the track “Ms. Johnson,” both of which have been the best way to start this shortened work week (outside of Juneteenth, of course).
