At this point in my life I’m an uncle a few times over, have grey in my beard, and my knees and back determine when they want to work more often than not; I don’t have time on this planet to care about the legal situation of a musician when it doesn’t affect me in the slightest so long as A: they’re not on any extreme violation-type nut sh*t and B: the music they release is still good. Gunna is one such case.

It feels that too many people are affected by his recent troubles, as if it actually affected their own livelihoods. Yeah, I’m aware of the parallels between Gunna and Tekashi 6ix9ine, but here’s the difference: on top of the latter’s music not being any good to begin with we actually know what he did (hell, he literally turned it into a marketing plan). Gunna’s backlash seem to be based on the opinions of simple hearsay and Twitter critters, which is, again, nut sh*t.
