Well, it finally happened.

“WTF is a Tiny Desk and no!” was the response from Juvenile, after a Twitter user suggested he try his hand at the NPR Tiny Desk Concert series. His response went viral (for, for better or worse, the wrong reasons), and the subsequent digital backlash he received ultimately let him to reconsider. And, here we are.

During his near-30 minute set, Juvie — alongside Mannie Fresh, because it makes zero sense to not include Mannie in this — ran through his classic catalog, performing everything from “Slow Motion” to “I Need A Hot Girl” to “Bling Bling” to “Ha” to “Project Chick” to “Back That Azz Up.” Sometimes, bullying works for the greater good!
