Two years after the third album, Man Alive!, King Krule is readying fans for his new LP, Space Heavy. Written between 2020 to 2022, Space Heavy includes lead single “Seaforth,” its music video directed by Jocelyn Anquetil. The 15-track album is co-produced by Dilip Harris and features his band consisting of saxophonist Ignacio Salvadores, drummer George Bass, bassist James Wilson, and guitarist Jack Towell.

Written during Krule’s travels between Liverpool and London after his partner gave birth to their child, the 29-year-old artist says Space Heavy is inspired by “the space haunted by dreams of love, touching a narrative of lost connection, [and] losing people and situations to the guillotine of the universe.”

Around the album’s release, Krule, legal name Archy Marshall, will perform in London, Bristol, Liverpool, and Kingston Upon Thames in June. Following 2020’s Man Alive!, Marshall released live album You Heat Me Up, You Cool Me Down, which includes seventeen songs recorded from his 2020 European tour, including “Easy Easy,” “Baby Blue” and “Out Getting Ribs.”
