Allow Us to Re-Introduce Ourselves
Lil Pump has sadly revealed that his dad has died.
On Friday (April 8), Pump jumped on his Instagram page and posted a photo of himself and his dad in much happier times. In the caption, he revealed that his father has passed away. “Rip to my dad I love u & miss u this one really hurt me,” Pump wrote along with a worried face emoji and a broken heart emoji. The Miami rapper also shared a family photo of what appears to be himself and his brother when they were young hanging out with their father.
Lil Pump didn’t reveal his father’s cause of death. Although his father and mother divorced when he was 6 years old, he remained very close to his dad.
Carnage, who produced Pump’s 2018 song “i SHYNE,” went into the comment section to offer his condolences to the 21-year-old rapper. “Love yu,” he typed as well as added a heart emoji.

Lil Pump has remained relatively quiet on the music front. Last December, Jetski teamed up with fellow rapper Ronny J and dropped a collaborative project called No Name.
On the flip side, Pump has been bogged down by money problems. Last November, the Internal Revenue Service hit the Lamborghini-loving rapper with a whopping federal tax bill of $1,676,738.65, according to court documents obtained by XXL.The lien was filed against Pump’s $5 million Miami mansion on Oct. 14, 2021. He also reportedly owes a tax bill of $8,9378.68 from December of 2019. It’s unclear if Pump paid both of his hefty bills to Uncle Sam.
XXL has reached out to Lil Pump’s reps for comment.
