It’s been two years since we’ve heard from Summer Walker. In 2021, she was detailing her messy and complicated relationship with fellow London native London On Da Track on her sophomore effort, Still Over It.

Now, as she looks to leave those feelings of heartbreak and anxiety behind her, Ms. Walker is back enjoying a life free of struggle and stress as she focuses more on joy and self-care with the release of her new project, Clear 2: Soft Life.

“I’m really loving life right now, enjoying this new outlook on life, loving the new me, loving my kids and not letting life pass me by anymore,” Summer says, “[CLEAR] was kinda sad—all my music is sad—but I’m in a different space, so this one is more happy. It’s a continuation in the sense of the music because it’s all live.”
