Ye up and walked out of a recent interview with journalist Piers Morgan after feeling slighted because the host called him by his old name and misquoted the number of followers Ye has on social media.

On Tuesday (May 6), Yeezy sat down for an interview with Piers Morgan, which went left. Piers shared news of the failed attempt to chop it up with Ye on X.

“So, I interviewed Kanye West again today,” Piers captioned a photo of Ye on the set of the interview. “As I expected, given what I’ve said about him recently, it didn’t last long or go well. This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby. Drops on @PiersUncensored later…”

Sneako Responds to Failed Piers Morgan Interview

Streamer Sneako, who was sitting right beside Ye for the interview, has since released a clip showing what happened on their end. In the clip, which can be seen below, Yeezy seems perturbed by something Piers says.

“It just shows the hate that you put out for people who put love. There’s so much love in the art that I put out,” Ye says below. After a brief back-and-forth, Ye has had enough.

“This is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count,” Ye says before leaving.

In a separate video, Sneako explains what set Ye off.

“Message to Piers Morgan, if you want to do a proper interview, then show basic respect,” Sneako says in the video below. “You know exactly what his name is. You know exactly how many followers he has. You intentionally didn’t do that. For a guy your age who is supposed to be a master of journalism, you showed an embarrassing display here.”

The artist formerly known as Kanye West legally changed his name to Ye back in 2021. He has been adamant about being called Ye since then. It looks like Piers didn’t get the memo.
